Chris Wright is the Team Lead for Strategic Engagement and Applications Development and Head of Technology Transfer at Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL), a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) National Laboratory managed by Princeton University. Chris directs PPPL’s efforts to accelerate the commercialization and transfer of laboratory technologies to the marketplace, including coordinating patent prosecution, negotiating industry contracts, and developing an entrepreneurial ecosystem for lab scientists. Before moving full time to PPPL, he previously held a licensing role for the physical sciences in Princeton University’s Office of Technology Licensing. Chris earned a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Delaware and a MA in Molecular Biology from Princeton University.
